Simulations
There are campaigns around the world that use drinking and driving simulators to raise the awareness about the dangers of driving motor vehicles while impaired.
Virtual Simulations
- Simulations that provide examples of impairment from drinking and driving on a computer. These simulations are online and often displayed as games. Similar to vehicle simulations, these virtual simulations provide a feeling of driving on a real road, including different road conditions.
Vehicle Simulations
- Simulations conducted in a vehicle, usually while it is stationary and the driver uses the car to navigate through a virtual road test. The simulations can include oncoming drivers, traffic signals and sudden events. They are designed to demonstrate the risks associated with drinking and driving.
