Building Awareness
Initiatives exist to increase the public awareness of alcoholism. These programmes cover such topics as warning signs of alcohol abuse, health risks and "at risk" behaviour. These warning signs and "at risk" behaviours include impaired judgment associated with excessive consumption and alcohol cravings. Many programmes also provide options for treatment.
