Special concerns pertain to how women consume alcohol beverages. Women usually absorb ethyl alcohol differently than men. They are often not able to consume as much as their male counterparts. Concerns primarily fall into two categories: drinking in a safe environment that will not put women in danger and health risks that mainly affect women.
