  • Initiatives aim to challenge adults to act responsibly and to not provide alcohol to those who are underage.
  • These initiatives attempt to target parents and family members by informing them of the potential legal consequences of providing alcohol to underage persons and the harm they could be causing to the youth themselves.

"Shoulder Tap" Prevention

  • Initiatives are targeted toward stopping "shoulder taps," the practice of underage youths approaching strangers at grocery stores or outside liquor stores and asking them to purchase alcohol for them.

  • Other initiatives focus on providing tips for adults on how to host parties responsibly for their children and their children's friends.
