Designed for adults from the United States who drink alcohol, the booklet can be dowloaded here, or the information could be accessed online here.

Wine Advertising webinar by DWA

The “Wine Advertising—In the Political Context” webinar by the German Wine Academy (DWA) was held at the University of Geisenheim within the course module “World Wine Markets”.

On the one hand, the webinar introduced the most important decision-makers in the alcohol policy for the wine sector (the EU Commission and the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety (DG Santé) and the World Health Organisation) and their common objective of reducing harmful alcohol consumption, as well as reminding the importance of raising awareness and educating about responsible wine consumption.

On the other hand, the webinar provided an overview on responsible wine advertising, going through different national contexts highlighting their peculiarities and differences. It was highlighted that responsible commercial communication is key to encourage a moderate and responsible consumption of wine.

Infowine.forum Congress by ACIBEV and Sogrape

ACIBEV and Sogrape informed the participants of the 8th edition of the Infowine.forum about the consumption of alcoholic beverages through a short movie and distributed leaflets. ACIBEV Raising Awareness of the Dangers of Drinking and Driving with a Simulator

ACIBEV raised awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol beverages with a simulator. As part of its commitment to the Wine in Moderation Program, ACIBEV took part of the first Summer Edition of Essência do Vinho, in Oporto, (2-4 July) where it signed a collaborative protocol with the National Road Safety Authority (ANSR). ACIBEV gave the opportunity to visitors of the wine fair to enter a driving simulator and witness how it is to drive under the influence of alcohol beverages through the use of special glasses that replicate different BAC levels. Over 266 visitors had the possibility to enjoy the activity.

Wine in Moderation Guidelines from Sogrape’s QR Code

Wine in Moderation’s guidelines for a moderate and responsible consumption of wine, and the messages under their “Choose| Share | Care” tagline are now downloadable on the go. Sogrape developed a poster with a QR code which was distributed at the first summer edition of “Essência do Vinho” in Oporto that took place from 2 to 4 July 2021, as part of its commitment to the Wine in Moderation programme and the National Alcohol and Health Forum.
